[GreenKeys] bought something crazy

It appears that the font/type belt is still intact.

It will be curious to see if it is still together after two or three
trips as the machine starts to print.

I once had about 15 brand-new model 40 belts with pallets in
original packaging, and had never been opened.

The flexible material of the belts is made of some mystery substance
that after aging for some period of time, turns into a sort of
sand-like substance, and the type pallets just fall out as the
substance holding them crumbles.

Good luck. I think the fellow over in Pocatello, Idaho, who has
warehouses full of forties and parts might be the person to consult
in this matter.

Hint - a model forty that experiences a type font/belt failure while
in operation can spread pallets farther than the eye can see in less
than a second. Wear your safety glasses and face shields.
