Howdy Folks,
I managed to scrounge a Model 35 printer out of one of the mouse infested units available here in NJ.

Question/comment:  Can the magnet be removed without the range finder adjustment being affected?  I want to clean this filthy unit with a bath in something like simple green or some other cleaner.

I know we've been "there" before, but I don't remember the details.  I remember the magnet, of course, had to come off, maybe even the platen.....so, any input is appreciated....oh, BTW, the KB was one sad piece of rust.  I did save the motor and the ESU....for some reason the mice loved the KB only ! !
