[GreenKeys] WRU Function

Hi Larry,
Yes the WRU code should cause a function bar to operate and trip off
the answerback mechanism, however it would also be a good idea to
make sure the 33 is actually sending the WRU code to the 35. If the
machines are connected and you turn on the 35 reperforator and send
WRU from the 33 it should punch the correct code on the reperf as well
as the punch on the 33... Same as the other way around. 33s are known
to occasionally drop or add a mark or space by one of the parallel
contacts bouncing or slipped out of it's retaining "comb." While the
35 operates similarly to a 28... the 32 and 33 keyboards, readers, and
answerback contacts are all in parallel and require the distributor to
serialize the contact opens or closures.
Hope this might help...

Howdy Folks,
Question: When my Model 35ASR TWX calls my Model 33ASR TWX the 33
answers with an ID. The same when the the 35 answers a call from the
33....with an ID.
The problem / question is, if I use Control WRU at the 35 keyboard,
the 33 answers with its ID. However, when I use the 33's Control WRU,
the 35 does not answer....I'm guessing the WRU is a function of the
stunt box...is that correct?
IF so, what position on the Model 35 stunt box would the function
switch be located that keys the answer drum?
Any thoughts are much appreciated.
