Related ...I have an ASR-33 that I acquired some years ago. It was working
before it was shipped, but arrived banged up and not working correctly. Are
there any 33 experts in western NY? I'm thinking of attempting to get it
up and running (with and Altair!) ...thanks...

Wayne up in New England could probably repair your machine...he's on 
vacation
and off the list for 3 weeks.

I think there's supposed to be a 10/32 x 1" screw that supposed to go thru 
the
bottom of the 33 (32?) to hold the printer down during shipping.  Was your
machine missing that little trick?
