Sad to report that John W3KV is a silent key.  For those of you who did not know John, he was the DX Editor for RTTY Journal for many years, starting in the 1960s at a time when RTTY was only Greenkeys and RTTY DX was not always so easy to find. John, under RTTY Journal editor Dusty Dunn W8CQ, really helped get the word out about who was active on the bands and who was going to be active shortly.  There were few if none DXPeditions back then so everything DX was usually in country for the folks luck enough to be able to get a teleprinter and where Amateur RTTY was allowed on the air.
