GreenKeyers - - -

Picked up the model 15 in Renton that was on Craig's List.

It's an old AP machine with AP brass tags, very good condition, and what appears to be a 66 speed gear set, and wiring that indicates it might have been a radio wire machine at some time. It's an RO with no cover.

Pretty stiff with congealed/ossified grease, but a few hours in surgery and it will perk as new.

HOT TIP FOLLOWS!!!

Machine available in OHIO...

The accompanying message was in the mailbox when I got here. Please follow through as you see fit.

Subject: TELETYPE NEEDS A GOOD HOME

  Hi George,

I hate to bother you with this, but I am having very limited success in finding Teletype collectors here in Ohio. My problem, I have a Model 19 (I think) Page printer with tape punch and tape reader that needs to go to a good home. I am located in Mansfield Ohio. We are located half way between Cleveland and Columbus. Do you have any way to contact any mailing lists to see if we can find a good home for this guy?? He has seen Amateur service, but I think he is only lightly modified. I think he is pretty much complete, with the exception of 3 keytops.
If you can direct me to anyone that would give this marvel a good home, it is theirs just for removing it from my basement. I am at 419 755 7777 7-4 EDT Work number, and my home number is 419 756 4321.

Thanks for any help you can give!!!

73,
Bob Harlan
