There's also the newer METAR weather "language" which used to be
sent by the recently-demised CFH in Nova Scotia. METAR info
can be found on the Internet.

If anyone wants it I have a card for decoding weather sequences that
was published in August 1967. At that time they were still using the
cloud cover symbols but had dropped the wind arrows. Temperatures
were still in Fahrenheit.
I scanned this into a pdf file - since we can't send attachments to
messages to the group you'll have to ask for it and let me send it to
you in private email.
