Sometimes...some...times...you can find such things at a hardware store.
5-40 is a common size, unlike the 6-40 and 8-36 that Teletype liked to
use.  We used to have a Westlake Ace hardware store here, sadly now gone.
I guess Westlake is a chain within the chain of Ace franchisees, and
they tend to have well-stocked stores.

But, yeah, cities usually have screw and bolt companies that have a
better selection than the things that pass for hardware stores these days.

And then there's McMaster-Carr.
