One of my friends told of working on Inktronic ink in the old Wrightwood
Ave. building.  There had not been any chemistry done in there previously,
so the building was not equipped with safety showers or the other
things that go with chemical work.  He was heating an ink solution in
a beaker when the beaker broke, spilling hot ink all over his front side.
To get to the nearest men's restroom, where at least there was cold water,
he had to dash through a conference room.
