ZCZC
Short one tonight (thanks goodness the crowd roars!).

No pickups or drop off today and only made it from Cape Girardeau, MO to just east of Memphis today. Spent about 4 hours this morning in a RV service center getting the A/C unit reattached to the top of the trailer before it fell off and landed in the lap of any of the vehicles behind us. After the service folks got a good look at it they got right on removing and replacing the seal between the unit and the roof of the trailer and then getting it reinstalled and tightened down really snug. Jerry, our repair tech, said I should Check the tightness of the fastening bolts after about 3 months due to the compression of the seal would allow the bolts to work loose and that was what had really led to our problem. Made worse by the pounding it took on the terrible roads we have encountered on our trip. I told him I'd probably do it much sooner than that, say about Memphis!! And with the condition of I-55 in AR, that will probably be a good idea.

Should have taken some pictures at the RV center since we had to remove two ASRs and the two Kleinschmidt TT-483s so they could get in the trailer to work. And then put them back and tie them down one more time. The folks there could get over the machines as most had never seen one.

Tomorrow I'll be in Huntsville to drop the M28 KSR from Dr House with Jonathan, and then on to Selma on Wednesday to make the final drop off of three pieces of equipment with James.

I can here the old homestead calling my name. Home soon. In bed walker tonight than has been the pattern.

73 and take care,
Steve G./N4SEG
