Tonight finds us in the Des Moines area.

What a great time we had visiting Dr House and his lovely wife Glenna.  They were excellent hosts and made us feel right at home.  As if we had known them for years.  Thanks Don and Glenna.

What a collection of equipment Don has. You have to see it to believe it!  If you are ever in the Northern Illinois area make arrangements to visit his "comm" center.

Tomorrow involves picking up the M28 ASR I won on an eBay bid and then looking over some Kleinschmidt equipment that has been crated for many years.  The owner had thought it was two M-28 KSRSs, but much to his surprise they turned out to be two TT-483/UG machines (Kleinschmidt).  About ten individuals had expressed interest when they were thought to be M-28s but when the Klein equipment was discovered almost all the interest went away.  I guess I'll expand my Kleinschmidt collection and then see how I can get one to Rice.  Seems like Rice and I are going to wind up with all the KLI stuff.  The rest of you should join us.

So far the odometer has turned about 2500 miles and I don't start what I consider to be the third leg of this big triangle until I leave Lincoln on either Saturday or Sunday depending on how my scheduled stops go.
