Nope. I have added HM as an exception with no change.

What I have noticed, is that even when I turn on local echo, and type 
into the Enter text here  box, nothing is echoed - in other words it 
appears as though it may  be receiving text, but not printing it out on 
the screen. 

Perhaps the question I should have asked is has anyone had any sort of 
difficulty with HM 2.4 on a windows 7 operating system....
