Larry - - - And all you GreenKeyers out there in TELETYPE
LAND - - -
THANK YOU!!!
ITTY requires the most "staffing" as I just could not do it all my
self and have time to visit the little boys' room, much less play
in
my junque.
I have to put the spot light on:
Wayne LeTourneau, WB0CTE, Wannaska, Minnesota
Thomas "Gramps" Tillson, Serious Enthusiast, Hyde Park, New York
Don House, K9TTY, Ringwood, Ill
Joe Montano, N9VMO, Muncie, Indiana
MendotaTech, High-Schooler from Mendotra, California
Bill Bytheway, K7TTY, Software Genius who "Writes The Songs" for
ITTY.
My Nameless Nephew, ITTY's Well-Placed-Source, living in a bunker
somewhere in Maryland
And now a newbie, at least for today - - -
Mr. Vick Welsh, Unknown Interest, Somewhere in the U.S. who
commented today on the Chili Cook Off.
Without these folks helping and doing their thing ITTY would not be
what it is, and what it is becoming.
As this is being typed there are 5 "listeners" on the circuit.
The peak for any one time is nine. That ain't Bad!!
And now for a bit of news - - -
There is a strong possibility that in the near future ITTY will
have
a presence on the HF bands.
The project is still in the "Womb", so-to-speak, but I will say
that
a gentleman radio enthusiast and professional, who has influence
with a large number of "significant power" transmitters has
indicated that he would like to present ITTY in a manner such that
properly equipped radio reception facilities would be able to copy
ITTY without the necessity of having an internet connection.
The flexibility of the ITTY Technological Edifice is such that it
would be extremely quick and easy to prepare and deploy a new
circuit tailored to the technical and regulatory requirements such
an enterprise would need to bring to fruition.
In redneck the previous statement would read, "Yep, Billy-Bob, we
can do 'er. Bubba, go git us some beer!"
So as to make it easier for those interested to learn more about
ITTY, a website that has been dormant for some time,
www.ittynews.com will soon make available a lot of information
about
ITTY such as how it works, our technical specs, the software
needed
to contribute to ITTY, how the AutoStart channel works, and then
should it come to pass, "ITTY ON THE AIR"
ITTY started out as a response to the grumbles by many that: There
ain't nuthin' ta copy any more!" We'll do our best to make it more
better.
Happy Fourth of July, everbody.

George - W7TTY - ITTY Central, Beer-Cooler Custodian
