John,

MMTTY has a lot of options and can be difficult to run if everything is
not set up properly.
Some questions & suggestions:

Have you successfully run MMTTY with any input other than ITTY?

Do you see any audio indication on the MMTTY screen? (the horizontal bar
in the center will show green with sufficient audio. In the "View"
drop-down menu, select "FFT Display" for a spectrum view and "XYScope"
for a cross-type tunning display if those are not already shown on the
right side of the screen.)

Press the "HAM" button for the 170Hz shift default.

If you can hear the ITTY tones in your computer speaker, you should see
two peaks on the spectrum display and a cross or two ellipses at right
angles on the scope display.

If you get nothing on the spectrum display and just noise on the scope
display, click the "RY" button to see what it should look like. (Click
"TXOFF" to turn off the RY test.)

In the "Option" drop-down menu, you can make adjustments to your sound
card levels.

If your computer has a built-in microphone, make sure it is OFF (or it
will send the audio from your speakers back into MMTTY and screw things up.

I have a 1.2 MB pdf file of a MMTTY "manual" which I can send you if you
like.

Hope this helps,

Duncan
