Yes, that's what I meant to say, if I didn't make myself clear the first
time. The high-base reperf can be typing or nontyping

Yes, that was the way Teletype offered it if you wanted to cut tape on
incoming messages. A little stool with casters that fitted under the
high-base reperf, and put on the floor under the M19 table.
There's an alternate configuration made by some of the Bell companies,
or maybe by Western Electric, that attaches to the back corner of the
M19 table and creates a shelf above the set that will hold a low-base
typing reperf, either KSR or RO.
