I doubt that they teach much history any more, but when the question of 
"What was Eli Whitney's greatest Contribution to the world?" was asked, the 
stock answer was the cotton gin.

The cotton gin was nice, but the Interchangeable Parts Concept???   CHANGED 
THE WORLD!!!!
