Robert De Niro and Robin Williams were once in a movie called "Awakenings".

The plot revolved around a psychiatrist (Robin Williams) who found that Depo
Provera would bring certain patients who had suffered some manner of
infection and who had lapsed into the world of catatonia, would for a brief
period of time become once again viable citizens for a few weeks, and then
go back into their state of living in a different world. Robert De Niro was
one of the patients.

I would advise against the Depo Provera therapy.

I am enjoying my fog of never having to touch a selectric again, as opposed
to the "joy" associated with bringing one of those piles of junk to life. I
still have the tools, the hand wheel(s), the half-cycle tool, the spring
hooks with the notch in the end for re-attachinng the carriage return cord,
etc.

Life is quite wonderful in the world of teletype machines.

I no longer have the challenge of finding that exact point in a cam
adjustment that would allow the machine to read the characters correctly and
functtion once again. I do not pine for the task of finding which of the
solid wires in the contact stacks had broken off creating a mechanical
blithering idiot. And I certainly do not miss having to tear them apart to
replace a motor belt that had the teeth burned out of it because the cycle
clutch had jammed. Nosiree Bob; life amongst the nasturtiums is just plain
ducky.

And I certainly don't have to answer to questions such as "You bringing in
any Guns?" or "Why are you taking jobs away from our citizens?".

Tip-toe, through the tulips, through the tulips, oh won't you come along
and tip-toe, through the tulips, with me.. Nyahh, nyahh, nyahh, nyahhh!
