Hi Joe,
This is Javier, the one who made HM3.
First of all, I have a new release ready to go out as soon as I come
back from vacations in about 10 days. This one solves a number of problems,
so it would be better to kick off from this new version.
Second, from what I understand you basically want to use 2 serial ports,
one for the TTY another for the Cell phone, am I wrong?
This cannot be done out of the box right now, because each HM supports
only one serial port... however... you can run two HMs (even on the same
machine), pipe them using telnet, and in that way you would indeed be able
to do what you say.... here comes the fact that some of the problems I have
solved in this last release I have in hand, were related precisely to the
telnet communication... so we end up again in, "you need the newer version"
:)
Finally.... one of the next steps I intended to do with HM was to
support multiple serial ports.. with that you would solve everything at
once.
I will email again to you once I am back, and I can help you setup
things over MSN or any other chat, much easier than by emails.
Regards!
Javier Albinarrate
