You don't mention which model teletype you are trying to
drive - but a solution that works for some (esp. 28 and
newer machines) are those BlackBox CL050 232 - current loop
adapters... the only issue with them is the loop keying
voltage is limited to less than 30 volts. I don't think it'd
take much to modify them to handle more "typical" voltages -
but since it keys my 28KSR just fine - I've not bothered
trying. I bought several some time back when a bunch
showed up for what seemed to be a low price (at least to me).
