Gentlemen:
This eBay auction

is for a machine that was first offered on Craigslist up here in the 
northeast several weeks ago for $425 (inspired, no doubt by the pristine 
CA machine that was bid up by newbies on eBay back then).  I contacted 
the gent and discovered that the machine is in a warehouse near the N.H. 
border in Tyngsboro, MA. ("parts also available").

     If this falls off eBay w/o a successful bid, (as we might 
reasonably expect) I will contact him after the holidays to have a look 
in person.  Advice from Greenkeys (Lar) was to let the realities of the 
marketplace make themselves felt on this seller before approaching, and 
I note that the eBay opening bid is now $350.
