Oh dear! Oh dear!  I -really- want this machine!  I just rescued the two 
WU Model 100 printers Jim (W1JT) had up on ebay...they were just like 
the one I had when I was a kid, and now, a bright shiny M28 like the one 
I lusted after in high school is in CA when I'm in MA!  Boo.  And my 
teleprinter addiction is kicking up again after lying at rest for more 
than 40 years...(do more machines make the addiction abate?)

Gerry Block has said he'd bid on it, and now somebody has pushed the 
ebay bid to $300.  I'm willing to become a part or whole owner of this 
machine, if some deal can be worked to temporarily store this thing 
until I can figure out how to get it back East.  Or at least secure a 
'right of first refusal' in some sort of partnership that might admit of 
a full acquisition at some later date.

Gerry...we've not met, but do you want a partner in this attempted 
acquisition?
