Hi Pete,
Remember that the 2-B uses the 5/16" wide paper tape rather than the
3/8" wide paper tape that the M14 uses.
As far as I know that is the only difference between the two. Western
Union however had a special cabinet for their operators to use called
the "Gumming Desk" for making up telegrams. I can send you images of
mine if you like. You could probably fabricate one and add it to a
standard cover.
Good luck,
Don

I've acquired the strip printing unit for a Western Union branded 14,
their model 2-B plus the base and kbd
from other 14's. Just out of curiosity did WU have their own manuals ?

My goal is to do the same thing John Nagle has done with a 14

Eventually like to have the other 'original' WU pieces such as the
base, keyboard and a case just to say it is complete.

PS One other questions, what paint color did WU use for their cabinets ?
