Hey Larry;

Start by going into the /tmp directory and installing it there.
It should install. If it doesn't, try this command:

tony% touch abc123 <HIT ENTER KEY>

There should be no complaints and if you do an <ls> you should
see a file called "abc123".

If that doesn't work, do a <cd /> and then an <ls -la>. See if
/tmp looks like this:

drwxrwxrwt  18 root     root         4096 Aug 24 12:43 tmp/
