The picture reads: "WAP 021201 2/12/77 Washington: This is the 
communications compartment, with teletype, radio, telephone, and coding 
equipment, aboard the Air Force's E4A Airborne Command Post that would 
be used by the President and the Joint Chiefs of Staff as an escape 
vehicle in case of war or natural disaster. It has been termed the 
"Doomsday" plane. Pres. Carter flew to Plains, GA., on it 2/11. UPI
