If there is no feed from George, the WLO transmitter on 8473 simply goes  
silent after a time out.  Rene and George are working on some other  
alternatives to make the operation more stable.  At this point, it is all  
experimental.
 
Should the number of listeners somehow justify an expansion of service,  
Rene would consider transmissions on different frequencies. WLO is licensed  
and equipped to operate on as many as 100 channels at a time. Their 
transmitter  site occupies 80 acres. However, always-on multiple 5KW output 
transmitters  cost money to operate.  The current 8473KHz rig is actually running  
only 300-watts.  Soon it will be 1KW.
