Soak your spool in a bit of diesel oil for a while,flip it and soak some more.Your ribbon will work for a day to a few days depending on how much ink is still in the ribbon. I do this by recomendation of D.Ross until it no longer works well enough to justify the effort. Don't toss the old spools.You may need them again when you find new ribbon material on wrong spools.

 know that this has been touched upon in the past, but I was wondering if 
nyone knows of a ribbon re-inking process or system for TTY ribbons. Was there 
ny special apparatus for this use?
