Yet another question.... Too much caffene.
 
Did Teletype make a "fanout" repeater by any chance? I know that if one loops too many TTYs in one loop, that the combined inductance of the electromagnets will start to degrade the signal. How would that problem be solved in large organizations where there had to be many units looped together?
