GreenKeyers - - -
I never thought that the response would be as large as it was.
I had no way to determine the actual chronological order that
responses were generated, as it appears to me that the GreenKeys
Device seems to sometime store things for days or at least hours
before regurgitating e-mails, and the best approach I could take was
to just follow the responses as they came in.
Results are:
URA-17s and UGC-77s go to Greg Mengell in Sacramento.
TT-187 TD to Gerry Block, Vista, Calif.
28 ASR tentaviely spoken for by WB5TOO in Midwest City, Arkansas. I
say tentatively because that's a long way from here, and to properly
ship it would require building a crate which would take me a long
afternoon, and then get it to a freight center. All this plus the
actual freight cost drives expense up to where it just isn't cost
effective. I'll know more on this in a day or so.
The 32 Keyboard is going to Don House in Ringwood, IL.
Kevin, W5TTY is interested in the 26's. That is also a lot of weight
to be hauled a long way.
Many have expressed a lot of interest in the 14 TDs, Reperfs, etc.
My wife has occasionally said that you just don't seem to have the
time to play with all the machines you have. And she's right!
After some think time on the matter, I have decided to seriously
reduce the number of goodniks I have sitting around, and that will
be to the benefit of the GreenKeys group.
Please allow me to evaluate just what I have lurking around the
place and I will publish an inventory of what I can live without.
Items I have paid for I would like to recover what I can from them,
and items that I have retrieved from death by the Big Hammer will go
for packing and freight.
I've spent a number of years and countless miles digging machinery
out of dark basements and such, just to make sure that they will
not disappear forever. I just don't feel I should profit from what
has become a kind of religion for me, so in accordance with that
belief it will go to good homes in the same spirit as it was
acquired.
