[GreenKeys] Wobbly FSK ?

Unfortunately, the VF-1's "spot" feature leaked through
the transmitter. I remember being (kindly) reminded of
that "feature" back in the good old 10 meter AM days.

Yah remember in the good ol' days...
You'd be listening somewhere in the CW portion of the band and
all of a sudden you'd hear a carrier sweep across the frequency
as some lid dragged his transmitter to the frequency his receiver
was tuned to?
We used to say that: "that's just someone down the band, tuning up,
and he's using a VF-1..."
I don't understand how Heathkit let something like that our their
doors.
