[GreenKeys] Model 28 Reperforator Manual or Instructions?

Hi Everyone,

Many of you suggested that I could "backspace" on my typos when cutting tape on the reperforator.  Once I backspaced, I could hit the LTRS key which would punch all 5 holes and the mistyped letter would not print.  This sounds like a very good idea and I was not aware there was a backspace option until the list members suggested it.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to backspace on my re-perforator.  I believe it's a model 28 (not Model 14) and here are two photos of it:

There is a tall vertical metal tab at the front of the machine that I can move to the left to repeatedly punch 5 holes and advance the tape as long as it is held to the left.  My thinking is that this would add LTRS characters *after* my typo but not fix my typo.  Is there another control on this device that backspaces?  Does anyone have an operating manual for this so I can try to look this stuff up myself in the future?

The chad also seems to drop down a tube and get all over the table.  Here's a photo:

Is there some sort of box or tray that is supposed to be under the long tube?  If so, does anyone have one of those for sale?
