I have replaced the AC power cord and the Loop cord on my 2B strip  
printer.
Tonight I was printing ITTY on the paper tape sample you sent.  It  
works fine.
I could not mount the roll of tape as I do not have a core made yet.

I also have a lot of cleaning to do on the machine.  It sure is nice  
to see the
machine print after all these years waiting for 5/16 inch paper tape.
