That is one Kleinschmidt machine that escapes me completely. Not
sure I ever heard of the AN/FGC-52X. Must be 25X spelled backwards!
Your description suggests it looks LIKE the 25X both externally
and possibly internally.

The weather model of the 25X was actually the AN/FGC-26 or 26X.

Most of those were retrograded to AN/FGC-25X standards in the
mid-60s and redistibruted as such to the field (Army). This was
after the Army gave its' weather stations to the Air Force who
assumed the mission (for the Army), about 1965 or so.
