Duncan,

I haven't looked up the details on this one but in general, radios sets of 
AN/GRC or AN/VRC prefixes do not include any specific vehicle.  Most of the 
AN/MRC group up to in the -40's anyway do include a specific vehicle (or in 
some cases a trailer) as an integral part of the system.  SCR-299 would have 
been in this category.  SCR-399 and AN/GRC-26(*) were not.  So AN/MRC-32 
has a different component list (and cost) than AN/GRC-26.
