[Teletypeparts]

R is 2 and 4 marking pulses and Y is 1, 3 and 5 marking.  So the pattern is back and forth.  A good way to test tape readers is LTRS and blank repeating, especially on a 32.  

Must be another Wayne on the group?

  I seem to remember "R" and "Y" was used as a test pattern as it was 
ome sort of extreme for the teletype to print, is that correct? What 
bout "NNNN", what is the significance there? Just jarring old synapses 
n the brain, this stuff is familiar just can't put my finger on it....
