Yes, this happens from time to time - I have no idea what
the issue(s) is(are). What happens a lot (and strangely
seems to happen more on the R390 list than this one - yet
both hosted on qth) is that the message gets "stripped"
leaving only the subject and the "trailer" stuff added by
the qth server. Some think it has to do with html vs. pure
text - but my mail agent (Thunderbird) is set to send only
pure text to any qth domain... So I have no idea why it
happens. I wonder if it has more to do with the mail agent
"in the middle" - many of us have had nightmares with mail
since AT&T started using Yahoo mail as their mail agent -
and I personally blame all the problems we have with them.
We also have our own mail server through our hosting company
- and seldom have issues there - but we tend to use
comcents at bellsouth.net to keep from confusing people about
our address - though from time to time we do use our
comcents at comcents.com address. Another PITA with
bellsouth.net since AT&T "took over" is that out-bound
attachments are now very limited (something less than 5MB -
while iPower (our comcents at comcents.com hosting company) can
handle upwards of 30MB (both in and outbound). And of
course at greenkeys - we're "subscribed" via bellsouth.net -
though I guess we could subscribe as comcents.com as well -
just hadn't gotten around-toit...
just my .02
