Howdy Folks,,,
I'm now on the WU Model 32.....today's project. I found the modem that came with it. Had put it on the shelf last year and just used the RS 232 out of the Dovetron do drive the printer....works great.
I've been running tones into the modem and measuring the "mark" and "space" (apparent) from the modem. Here's what I've got so far; 1070 (mark) idle tone on the line from the tty modem
1270 is the rotary dial FSK of the 1070....presumed to be a "space"
2330 (could be 2350) to the modem from the C.O. seems to be for starting the motor and turning on the rig.
The modem is by Universal Technology of Verona NJ. I found a number for such a firm but it's in Westfield. It's a Model LIB.
Tell me folks, what do you know about these tones....are they familiar?
