Hi all!

I remember long time back abt the 'Foreign' woodpecker
which apparently caused a lot of HF communications disruptions. I never really got a clear explanation of what it was, when it 'Quit', and what its' purpose was at the time...Has it been heard since?

I had a long gap being aways from amateur radio/RTTY, but
since full retirement, have been back at it with a vengeance.

Hopefully, one or more of you in the know, can fill in the
blanks re: the Woodpecker situ..
