Actually, it can be made to work on either Linux or Windows, and
using either serial or USB ports.  The easiest combination is
a Windows desktop machine with a built-in serial port, because
the device and Windows will properly talk 45 baud, 5 bits, no
parity.  I use a reprogrammed USB to serial converter and an
interface unit built entirely from parts in current production.

If you have a model 28, it may be able to run on a 20mA current
loop.  20mA current loop interfaces are easy to find; 60mA
interfaces are not.

I have a Model 15 set up to receive SMS messages from Google Voice,
and to follow RSS feeds.  As I've mentioned previously, we have a
