This is a long shot, but here goes...

Tony Snider in Virginia Beach, VA has a Navy antenna he would like to  
send me.
I live in northern Illinois close to the Wisconsin border.
The antenna is in two 17.5 foot sections and most likely weighs about  
100 pounds.

I have a shipping account with Old Dominion Freight Line but the  
problem is they
do not want to ship unpackaged or uncrated goods, plus the length  
would be very
very expensive.

There is no way I can get permission to make another trip to the east  
coast and
back without a divorce proceeding, so I am hoping that sometime one of  
you may
be planning a trip from east towards the west and could bring my  
lovely monster
antenna with you.  I would meet you somewhere within a couple hundred  
miles.

I know it sounds crazy but I have to try something...  Any suggestions  
would be
greatly appreciated... however I already know the 35 foot whip will  
not fit up my
posterior so do not bother with that suggestion...
