[GreenKeys] Teletype Model 28 - Wall Mount 1962

Steve,

I saw pallets full of the wall mount 28's many years ago when
I was helping to remove tons of Teletype equipment from a warehouse in
Paterson, NJ. The warehouse was full of Western Union's final
inventory of Teletype equipment, amongst other electrionic stuff.
The wall mounts were complete, but pretty well beat up.
While they look "cute' in the brochures, they are very large
and ungainly. There was so much TTY stuff "for the taking"
that I never got aorund to grabbing one of the wall mount units
as a specimen. Unfortunately, there was a limited time window
to grab the stuff...about 80% of it went to the scrappers. A
couple of Greenkeyers took part...we all ran out of storage space
at our homes...!

On Monday I picked a couple very nice Model 28 machines along with
manuals,
prints, spare parts and other accessories. In with the documentation
was a
1962 brochure for a wall mount version of the Model 28. I have never
seen
one of these before and was wondering if anyone has actually seen one,
used
one, or perhaps may even own one. I would like to know more about the
history of this version of the Model 28. I made a full color scan of
the
