Greetings All - - -

It is painful to junk out a machine, but when the mouse pee and other 
negatory things make it unfeasable to save, one should go through it and 
pull all of the screws possible and just throw them into a "Hell Box".

I have never known a TTY repairman to NOT have that magic assortment in the 
bottom tray of his leather bag, or a wooden cigar box, or any other likely 
container, full of those precious goodies that many of you now lament the 
absence thereof.

If you don't have one, start one. If you know someone who has a big one, ask 
him to share a portion of the wealth, if he is willing. Most TTY types are 
happy to help out newbies.
