That's unfortunate. 12-24 is the standard screw thread for telephone
equipment relay racks. I had no trouble getting a bunch of them from
the local bolt and screw company a few years ago, and also from a
manufacturer of the racks. Was even able to get stainless steel from
a marine supply company (West Marine).
