Hi All:

My Fairchild Teletypesetter arrived today. It is filthy,
rusty, but looks as though it might clean up well with time
and work.

Now, Brian Gough who gave me the teletypesetter brought
down a few other interesting items. Most interesting
teletype-wise is a 3x3 placard, backpainted on plexiglass
with:

"Teletype Service provided by

[1960's Bell Canada logo]

a member of

THE TRANS-CANADA
TELEPHONE SYSTEM"
To the right of the latter test is a representation of a
telephone handset.

This was designed for mouning on teletype gear. This was
moounted on the top cover of a piece of as-yet unidentified
teletype gear. I hve its cover only. Perhaps more
interesting for Canadians, but hopefully for others, too. I
have posted its photo to:

Other non-teletype items are:
Iron on promotional patch of a candlestick telephone
Before you dig, call Bell Canada key chain,
Two matchbook folders containing not matches, but one a
sewing repair kit, and the other stocking touch up sticks
to woo the women!

These sport the logo of the New Brunswick Telephone Company
Ltd., one saying Modern Homes Have Extension Phones (front)
and Gives you Privacy - Costs so Little
Now available in Red, Green, Beige, Ivory. Order yours
today (on the back)

and the other: Same Logo, but Call By Number (front) and A
stitch in Time - You can save time and money by placing
your Long Distance calls by NUMBER! (on the back)
