I think I missed the start of this thread. I thought one of the pictures 
looked like it might have been Chicksands or a similar site elswehere.

You may be aware that Chicksands is just up the road from me here in 
Hitchin. The old elephant cage in the sky was quite visible for miles 
around. The town slightly East of the site is Shefford in Befordshire 
and the road running E-W just South is the A 507 which is not a bad way 
to get to Bletchley Park from here, by the way.
