[GreenKeys] Morse Telegraph Club at Dayton Hamvention

Hi Everyone,

The ancestor of teletype, landline telegraph, will be demonstrated at the Morse Telegraph Club's booth at the 2010 Dayton amateur Hamvention, May 14th - 16th.  We'll be set up in booth SA0324.

We will be demonstrating all aspects of landline morse telegraphy and will be promoting:

* The Morse Telegraph Club
* The MorseKOB application an internet based virtual telegraph "wire". 
* Landline Morse in general

If you are planning to come to the Hamvention, please stop by our booth so we can extend a warm welcome to you.  We plan to have equipment displays, a working MorseKOB telegraph "office" on the internet, and promotional materials for the club.

Perhaps members of the Greenkeys list might consider doing something similar at future Hamventions.  It is possible to get a complimentary booth at the Hamvention with the proper non-profit credentials and paperwork.  If anyone is interested in doing this next year, I wouldn't mind dragging a Model 15 or other equipment to contribute to a display...something to think about.
