If you are looking for a lower voltage loop supply the transformer 
below will produce about 55v dc after rectifier and filter. Medium to 
small size and price is right. Two of these transformers could be 
used to give a loop supply of about 80 v or 110 v dc. Might be safer 
than the 160 to 170 volts from an isolation transformer supply. I 
bought a hand full of them and have used two so far in projects (none 
for a loop supply yet). They must have a bunch as they give an 
additional price break at 80 units.
