Not that many years ago I would have though nothing
of driving from where I live Portland, Oregon to
Flagstaff. It is 'only' 1,300 miles / 2,100 km. And
would have been a great excuse to hit a dozen surplus
places in California :-)

Can't imagine what it would cost today if still had
my 66 Ford pickup with that 1971 390 cu inch motor.
