I sold one of these tags just by it self for $50

the 15 I lost in a fire was also an AP tagged one and twice
was offered more then it was worth one from a local news station
who wanted to put it in their lobby. It also had a large
engraved-laminated "AP News" about 6 x 6" glued where the copy
holder went. My guess it ran as a RO since I got it from a
local TV station sale when they moved their studios.
