[GreenKeys] ATT fiasco

Just to help...the confusion at AT&T is that the Worldnet dial-up
folks and the AT&T DSL folks apparently don't talk. If you go through
the painful process, you might find yourself signing up for
dial-up service when you don't need it. After sitting on hold for
almost two hours, I was able to get the guy to admit I didn't need
dial-up service if I hadn't used it in years. So, I got a better
monthly rate but did have to "move" my account. Admittedly, the
guy was very patient and he walked me through it.
Imagine...the potential of losing my connection to GREENKEYS!!!!!!!

Been there, done that - and yes AT&T SUCKS!!!!!... Even IF
they decide to let some customers keep their email
(xyz at bellsouth.net, for instance) the "conversion" to Yahoo
mail is no where near "simple" - not even for technically
smart people. Sherry is quite competent yet she is into
here third WEEK trying to get her email straightened out at
work. I spend an entire weekend straightening it out here
(and keep in mind - we got to keep our @bellsouth.net
address!).
Sorry to vent on this off-topic subject... (well not really
- - - I DO feel better!).
