If you have thus far enjoyed the CommCenter-1 Groups CommCenter-2.net
simulated military Telecomm channel, then you will enjoy the new, 2nd
circuit that has recently been activated:

It is located here:

http://commcenter-8.net

It replicates a US Army 1st Signal Brigade Tech Control link at a Major
Relay
Station (RUMK) which was located at Korat, Thailand during the Vietnam
War.
It is a Receive Only Printer # 1 (ROP-1) on Channel 1SAT (Tech
Controlleese
Circuit ID).

RUMK was a tape relay station. It was replaced in the late 60s by RUMO,
an AUTODIN Switching Center (computerized data switching center). Today,
neither station exists.

RUMK/CC-8 processes traffic in the ACP-127 torn tape format.

RUCI/CC-2 processes traffic in the JANAP-128 AUTODIN format.

The original CommCenter-2 circuit is still operating and available for
your
viewing enjoyment.

It is located here:

http://www.commcenter-2.net/opnet.html

Each circuit carries different traffic of interest. Both are teletype
replicators
with sound and SIMULATE the operation of 60 wpm teletypewriters.

It should be noted that CC-2 offers the sound of a Kleinschmidt TT-98/
FG.

CC-8 offers the sound of a Teletype Corp Model 28 ASR.

Open two browsers at the same time for an interesting cacophony of
multi-teletype operations. . . . .
